Skinny Jeans

Since the skinny jean is the rage now which I love, I took some of my old, very expensive jeans to the tailor to have the bell taken in and there you go.....skinny jeans!
Hate to throw them out, tailors can do amazing things...

Fashion NIght Out!

Fashion Night Out was a huge hit at Bergdorf Goodman! We had a blast...in these photos are Harry King and Susan Anton Pasanen.
Harry is one of the most talented hairdressers to this day. Susan, of course, is my business partner...My dress is by Michael Kaye Couture and our earrings are by Michael Kaye as well.

Flip Flops.........

I know it is summer and everything and we all love our flip flops BUT, they are so bad for your body.

I remember as a kid, we would only wear these to the beach, that is it. Otherwise, it was sneakers.........

I wore a thin pair all day long yesterday and my feet, legs, and back were killing me by the end of the day......so beware, throw the sneaks back on from time to time.

Perry Ellis was one of the most incredible designers of his time! He did my wedding dress when I got married to Jeff Aquilon..with him is Lisa Ryall, who modeled for him quite exclusively.

The movie HUGE

OK< here we go!! Just saw the actress that starred in this movie which I think is just appalling. Promoting obesity is just wrong...........

What we are promoting here, is that it is OK to be 200-300 pounds overweight. Does anyone realize that these people will die YOUNG for one, die of diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure etc......I am just disgusted.

The actress was looking for an agent and the agent told her she had to lose weight. She said, that is not what I am all about, it is about what is inside me!!! Right......that is the easy way out....let me just eat until I die!!!

I just spent tons of hours sitting in Dr.s offices for my back and seeing people in there that are severely overweight. Their problem could be solved by losing 100-300 poounds without a doubt. It is called disipline......mine problem is a bit different. I am a very healthy, athletic woman trying to get some pain relief and I have to wait hours with these people ahead of me......makes me insane.....

Dallas, Neiman Marcus Conclave

Susan and I went to Dallas, TX for the NM Conclave which is a gathering of all DMM's of the stores across the country. We were on day 4 with the Beauty Tool Section. We were the only body tool in the room out of 6........
Everyone clapped for us at the end of Conclave and said, we were the one tool that they just couldn't live without!!

Stan was a dear friend and one of the most talented photographers of his time. He passd away yesterday of cardiac arrest in France. So sad. He will be missed.
This was one of the most contraversial covers for Vogue. He was way ahead of his time.
